when i was trying out the video feature a message came up and said i needed quicktime player to play videos and do i want to install so i click yes and it takes me to the download page at which point i downloaded and installed.
so,my query is ...if biab uses quicktime for videos is there a sneaky option for using quicktime(instead of wmp) for auditioning real tracks/styles.

the reason im asking is my wmp is giving me hell and not functioning properly with biab but thats another story which i have already posted about.
thanks for anybodies time

I am no fan of Quicktime, but if i need it i use Quicktime Lite, a stripped version of all those unneeded PC polluting "goodies" apple throws at you. I think version 1.4 is the latest. F

There are several good media/video players to consider before suffering the slings & arrows of QuickTime which is justly referred to as a PC crippler.
VLC Media Player is great, Media Player Classic etc. will all do a great job so long as you have the latest Codec pack installed.
