Hi all, new user here

I use BiaB for creating drumless tracks to play along to. However when I render the track to mp3 there's no count in. I get the count in when I unmute the drums, but not when they are muted, so my guess is that the count in click is part of the drumtrack. Is there a way around this?

Hi Sebenza,

Welcome to the forums.

Rather than use the 'mute' button on the mixer to silence the drums, try the following...

1. leave the drums unmuted

2. right-click your mouse on Bar 1 of the chord-sheet

3. select 'Bar Settings'

4. select the 'Drums' button under 'Instrument changes at this bar' and set it to mute

This will mute the drums from the start of bar 1 onwards.

Regards,
Noel

Hi. My understanding is that you are correct; the count-in uses the loaded drum track. Would you be willing to do a workaround? Load a drum track you could tolerate for the count-in, then immediately mute the drums (use F5) on the first measure.

Thank you both for the quick replies. Your solution works perfectly, Noel. Thx a lot!
