Hi Guys,

I have not used BB for some time

If for example I want measure one to have
1/2 rest,
then a 1/4 rest ( in other words, beats 1,2,3 are silent)
then a chord symbol on the 4th beat of measure one

This would be a pick up measure but I could want the same thing in some other measure.

Can I do that?

Thanks,

Billy

A dot (single period) after the chord will make all instruments Rest.

For beats 3 and 4 put Chord Dot Comma Chord

C.   C.,C

Hi,

You can also type it in as "C.(Enter),C"

You don't actually need to enter another rested chord on beat 3 (the one on beat 1 will carry over), just a comma and then a chord name in the second half of the bar will put the chord on beat 4.

Cheers
