How to change chords on the "-e-" (2nd 16th)has eluded me for years. The pushes dont seem to address it< but it is very common in all types of music.
Any help? thanks!
Hi Karnak,

Sorry, it can't be done (I can pass along a request though). You can make a chord play an 8th or 16th note early, but not a 16th late.

If you open the song in RealBand, you could get that effect by editing the audio tracks manually, and if you're using MIDI, you could freeze the tracks and edit the notes in BIAB's Notation Window or Piano Roll.

Thanks

I published the only possibility (as far as I k now) to enter more than 4 chords to a bar quite a while back.

It was by dividing a 4/4 bar into one 2/4 bar and one quarter note triplet (= 3/4) bar. This way you can enter 5 chords into one 4/4 bar.

The length of the half 3/4 bar has to be time adjusted, as it should last just as long as the 2/4 bar.

A workaround might be to edit, expand the song form by two, and adjust the style and tempo. One bar becomes two. Or try sn expanded style from Norton Music.

The problem you run into here is, as Kent described, pushes only place a chord earlier, not later, and you cannot have both a pushed chord and a chord right on the beat.
Thanks Kent, please do pass that request along. it would sure help. I have been manipulating the audio, but it is far more work and tricky to get sounding right. Ah, well...
Thanks!
