Upgraded to 2019 on my low spec Lenova Yoga Windows 10 64 bit.
32 bit biab works fine with Real tracks and midi thru Forte.
Processor peaking around 85%.
64 bit biab stutters and produces noise with same realtrack songs.
CPU solid at 100%.
Midi thru cakewalk vst seems ok.Have set all power options to max.

Desktop Win 10 32 bit runs 2019 biab fine with all files.

A bridge too far for my little travel laptop.

Garth,

As a test, try activating "This song has playback problems, disable fast generation" and see if that helps.

Song settings can be accessed by right-clicking on a blank spot in the chordsheet and selecting "Song Settings" from the menu that appears.

Let us know how you go.

Regards,
Noel

Noel,

Disabling fast generation of real tracks for this song has now enabled correct output in biab 2019 64 bit on my basic laptop.
Found a global version of this setting in options/realtracks.
However this appears to affect both 64 and 32 bit executables.
Is the biab settings file common to both?
If so, should there be a file unique to each version?

Why is there a difference between biab 32 and 64 when loading and playing realtracks on my low power laptop?

Another can of worms!!

Garth

I'm curious to know the Model so I could look up the specs (I also use an entry level Lenovo most of the time when I'm not using my desktop).

Lenova Yoga 310-11ap
Intel Celeron n3350 @ 1.1 GHz (2 GHz by doubling)
4 GB ram
64 bit os.
64 GB SSD
BIAB run from 256 GB usb3 flash drive on usb3 bus.
Very light and virtually unbreakable. Perfect for travel.

It should run but will be slow 4 gig might be light and the processor is a bit slow. I use a Lenovo think pad 500 A10 processor and 8 gigs of ram and it will struggle under a heavy load of tracks and effects.
