So I'm trying to record from my Roland workstation. I get a bad lag from when I play the notes to when the sound actually comes out of the computer/speakers. I didn't have this problem when I used PT on my PC but it dies and now I'm working off of my laptop. Any suggestions anyone?

Actually, I did the live help and THEY FIXED IT! But in case anyone else has problems like that, here's what I did:
I had been operating on MME and I needed to switch to ASIO
The had me download an ASIO driver (ASIO4ALL_2_11_Beta1_English.exe----they had a little hard time getting it to me so sent ith through sendspace.
Then I downloaded a LoopBe30 file from nnerds.de

Once I restarted the computer the drivers were both there. From the Options-preferences menue I picked tab #2, changed the audio driver type to ASIO, then in midi setup picked LoopBe as the OUTPUT driver and voila! no lag. (Plus it seems to have fixed my 'too much pedal' problem on playback as well )
