I have been using PowerTracks Pro version 12 on my XP laptop.
I record at church every week and create an MP3 podcast of the message and post it (since 2007).

All smooth until I upgraded to a Windows 7 laptop.
Now the workflow is no longer seamless as MP3s no longer can be created using the l3codecp.acm codec.

Google search (and searches on this forum) mention the LAME codec.
Apparently the LAME codec must be created from scratch.

My question: if I successfully create the LAME codec and install it correctly into Windows can Powertracks use it directly?

I see video encoding in package "Mega" but no note on any of the packages for audio encoding.

I'm missing something for sure.

audio is the basis of the codec

So any of the packages will encode?

Just get the Mega and when you get the latest version of PT it will give more options for video Encoding the Chord Sheet.
