I am getting back into Power Tracks, I would like to know, does it run ok in windows 10?
Yes it does; however, it's still a 32-bit application. It will run fine on 64-bit Windows.
In fact, I've found very little software (that used to run on XP, Win7, or Win8) that doesn't run on Windows 10.
If you are running Windows 10 32-bit, then do not buy jbridge. It won't do anything for you, because the O/S won't let you run the 64-bit plugins. Jbridge lets you do two things - run 64-bit plugins in a 32-bit host (but you have to have 64-bit O/S to be able to run the plugin), or run 32-bit plugins in a 64-bit host (which of course, again, requires a 64-bit O/S to run the host).
Is there a particular reason for running only 32-bit Windows 10. It seems to me that running 64-bit Windows 10 gives you essentially the best of all worlds.
I'd suggest a reboot after install to have features behave as intended. For example, the old PT desktop icon still displayed and the loop function had a confusing behavior. After a reboot, the new icon appeared and, apparently, features work as intended. It may be my imagination, but everything seems to run faster and better.
