I have Power Tracks 2014 installed on 2 computers: One with windows 7 and the other with windows 10, latest updates.

On the windows 7 machine Power Tracks will let me import an MP4 to extract the audio (typically after making a tutorial I extract the audio to clean it up, then put it back in the video)

But the windows 10 machine won't open it. I installed the K-Lite codec pack but it still won't open it. Anybody know what I need to install in order for Power tracks to work the same on both machines?

I can't help with PT 2017 it imports just fine (Win 10 Pro) it might be I have the right Codec due to something else (i have a TON of stuff installed and unsure of what there is anymore) on that thought...

HOWEVER, it might be a QuickTime thing

I run PT 2017 on new LAPTOP (win 10 pro) and the SAME MP4 won;t import due to a "QuickTime may not be installed correctly" error and actually crashes me out

Thanks Larry! I don't get that error, but I'll find and install Quicktime to see if that's the missing ingredient
