Can anyone tell me if there's a setting somewhere to restrict the octave range for the soloist? When I use it it almost always creates some notes that are well out of my range (on both the low and high ends).

Hey Ike,

You will need to go into the Soloist page, then click on "Edit Soloist". In there is the settings for the range of notes played during the solo.
