Suddenly, my PT song went from 160 bars to 4000+

How do I simply reset things so that song ends at the end of the recorded data (or to the number of bars I set)?

Edit- Cut (check the 'close gap' option)
Cut everything from the last needed bar to bar 4000+, by using the 'from - thru' area to make the settings
