Real time chord entry - 06/14/12 09:15 AM
Band-In-A-Box 2012 does give you the options to enter the Chords with midi keyboard in real-time but there is a work around you can use to get similar resault:
1. Press Alt-F N to create a new song
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+M to bring up the mixer: Mute all but Drums, Thru and Melody
3. Press R to record the chords of your song into melody along with the drums. Try to keep them simple and on time.
4. Press F6 and Alt-B to save Midi to Clipboard
5. Pess Alt+Shift+I to Interpret Chords from Midi file. Press "Use Clipboard" and "Interprent Chords Now"
6. In the Mixer: Solo Combo so you can hear the result and continue from there.
