I'm working with 3 separate wav files and will end up with parts of each in a new single wav file. When I went to import a wav file, I got the "cannot open stom^.exe fie" and "cannot convert file" errors. I did a search and found a post by Dr. Gannon suggesting opening the file as administrator. I had to go to my computer and open the realband.exe file from the Real Band directory and open as administrator. Yep, that worked okay. I guess I can always do this, but it would make life a lot easier to open the pgm by clicking on the taskbar icon. I just started using Win 7. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Thanks.

Go to the taskbar icon and then Shift-RightClick on it. You will get a menu. Select Properties, then the Compatibility tag. From there, you can specify to "Run as Administrator".

Isn't that the name of a Nestico tune?

Hi Mac. I've never heard that one, but that doesn't mean much. Nestico did some great arrangements, IMHO. We have played some in comm. band and a Christmas brass ensemble.
