Sometimes a midi seems a bit trebly or a bit bassy overall.
Would like to see one tone control for all midi tracks in the song.
Richard
A tone control cannot be applied directly on a MIDI track because it don't contain any audio data, but only information about the note numbers, the velocity of a note, the channel number, panning information, etc. If you use a VSTi for a track, then you can apply for example the PG equalizer to change your tone map.
Thanks for the reminder JL.
Wishfull thinking on my part.
Richard
Bounce or render the midi to audio through a good synth, and apply eq, and other effects to that track.
http://tweakheadz.com/midi_controllers.htmCC 70 thru 83 may interest you.. depending on the synth.
Sooooo - Saved the page on controllers to study and experiment with. Using Roland SD50.
Thanks.
