Sometimes a midi seems a bit trebly or a bit bassy overall.
Would like to see one tone control for all midi tracks in the song.

A tone control cannot be applied directly on a MIDI track because it don't contain any audio data, but only information about the note numbers, the velocity of a note, the channel number, panning information, etc. If you use a VSTi for a track, then you can apply for example the PG equalizer to change your tone map.

Bounce or render the midi to audio through a good synth, and apply eq, and other effects to that track.
