Would be nice to be able to highlight a section and use the Left, Right Arrows to nudge it specified amounts in the Audio Edit Window.

Have you tried Highlight and CRTL Drag and then the Drag/Drop Edit box pops up and you can choose the exact time to place? Or are you just looking for a different way to do this, maybe easier for you?
