Ideally, selecting a track record button would call the sub menu options available in the current record button pop-up window show below for in 2017 RealBand screenshot.

It's a good idea.

2019 & 2020 RealBand mixer window do not have Record button per track.

Another idea remove all track channels, and aux channels, empty the mixer except the main out. The when a user uses say 5 tracks in the tracks view they show up in the mixer, allow the user to add aux. uses as needed. And update the send on the tracks to choose with buss at send to. Like all other DAWs. Add the record buttons and that would be sensible to all. There are 8 aux busses but the tracks only have 4 sends! What?

And I can't count the number of times I've recorded on the wrong track
