I have a bug that randomly affects chord entry.

When I start a new project I have no problem entering chord names like G#m. (G Sharp Minor). That works.
Then I do a few transposes, and keep editing, and eventually I get into a state where it won't let me enter G# at all.
Typing G works. The G appears. Type # and nothing happens.
Delete the G and then type a D and press enter.
Type G#m.
Still doesn't work.
Type G# and press enter.
Now it works.
Now type G#m.
Now it works and I have the chord I want.

Note that I'm using a chord that lives outside the key.

G#m contains notes that are not in the scale of D major, in fact, most importantly the root note G# is not in the key. Is that why?

I note that also there is a feature in the key signature drop down to set the key signature to the Apparent Key. This does not do what I expect.
It says that the likely key for the set of chords I entered is A flat minor. But it leaves the key at Gminor when I do that. I would expect it to use the key signature for A flat minor which is the relative major, C-flat major.
Hi Warren, what macOS are you running please?

And also please make sure you are running the latest build for the 2023 version: https://www.pgmusic.com/support_macintoshupdates.htm
