Ising Mac Version 2013 i want to transpose the melody into the bas clef.
how do i do this.

This is for midi melody... and I'm not sure if it applies to 2013 but it's worth a try.

If you are not wanting to keep the pitch of the notes, one way might be to use the "Melody" menu on the very top menu bar. Under this menu there's a "Transpose" option. Selecting "Octave Down" should bring the melody to the bass clef.

Another possibility...

In the PC version, when in Notation Mode, clicking on the "Opt" button takes the user to some settings. One of these settings is the "Clefs split at: C4". By changing this to C5 or C6, melody notes would become bass clef notes. I'm not sure if the Mac (2013) version offers this.
