New user here, where can I find the info on formatting my song, ie, more than 2 chords in a bar, push beats in a bar etc

Hello rayjbee, and welcome!
To enter 4 chords in a bar, you use a comma to separate chord 1/2 and 3/4. For example:
G,C RETURN D,G RETURN
If you want a chord on beat 2 and 4 (not 1 and 3), it would be entered like this:
,C RETURN ,G RETURN
Rests, Shots, Holds, Pushes
A rest is entered with a period C.
A shot is entered with two periods C..
A hold is entered with three periods C...
A 1/8th push is entered ^ (^C)
A 1/16th push is entered ^^ (^^C)
The Chord Settings dialog is opened by right clicking (or CNTRL+click) in a measure of the Chord Sheet. You can also press Option+Z.
In Band-in-a-Box for Mac you can go to Help | View Full Band-in-a-Box Manual to open the PDF manual.
The "Entering Chords" section is a great place to start!

Very helpful, just so happens my daughter is named Alyssa, nice to get a response from her namesake (if thats the proper expression)
