I purchased BIAB Everything, Did not install on computer, it runs from the Hard Drive and with all applications closed, the hard drive will still not eject. I don't want to mess this up on the first day, why is this happening?
After switching to a Mac it was hard for me to get used to OS's requirement to "manually" eject SD's, sticks, drives and other devices -- particularly after decades of a PC. But you should get a warning when you remove the device to do so, i.e., eject it via the Finder.
If worse comes to worse, you might want to turn the computer off and then unplug the drive. Note: I'm not an expert, so try this at your own risk.
Notes
If BiaB is still running and quit (close) the BiaB application. Then try to eject the disc. If it still won't eject just unplug the cable.
