In the Windows BIAB version, you can change the tempo of your song at any bar, via the F5 key : change the tempo to a nominal value or change by a %.
It maybe works for the MAC version.
You could also check your BIAB manual, it is not time wasting !

John-Luke,

Many thanks for your interest/reply to my question/problem.

As you suggested checked the manual for Mac version ( 2016 ) and it does not provide any information therefore i must conclude that the tempo change thru out a song can't be done with the Mac application.

W, even in the Windows version this would be somewhat difficult to achieve, as the tempo of Hungarian Dance No.5 in G Minor changes throughout the bar. It really is played as poco accel.

BiaB only lets you change the tempo at the beginning of each bar, to either a fixed amount or as a percentage of the last tempo. I don't think you would achieve the same smooth result that Brahms had intended.

Brilliant piece of music, BTW.

VideoTrack,

Thanks for your comments.

I will be posting my request as a suggestion for tempo changes thru out a song to the " wish Mac Band in a Box could do this... "
