When creating a file, once I have played back a few measures to check how they sound I cannot continue to enter chords:

- I open a new file
- I type some chords in the first 4 measures
- I press play to hear the first 4 measures before I continue
- I click in any measure to type more chords
- I cannot type in the chords, nothing happens

I need to save the file first before I can continue typing!

Has anyone else had this problem?

I’m using Band-in-a-Box for Macintosh Version 2018 (263) on MacOS Sierra Version 10.12.6.

Do you stop playback fully before entering the new chords?

Yes I hit the spacebar and I also tried with clicking the stop button, makes no difference.
