How do I import a MIDI into Band In a Box and have to spilt each channel to a different track? Everytime I try to open a MIDI file, it always want to load all the parts onto one track.

It seems like you open it and then render to a midi and it gives you a choice of that. Don't quote on on that!

If you load it onto one track you can then go to the piano roll and cut & paste the notes from the one track to the other tracks by choosing the channel (Chan) to show only the notes on that channel then right click > select all > cut > paste in other track... make sure you paste them in the same time position.

Hi,

You can also use Edit - Copy Special - Copy/Move Tracks to move selected channels from the Melody track to any other track.

Thanks
