FWIW, I had a bleed (caused by an injury) at 44 and whilst it took a while I recovered almost everything. The brain has a remarkable ability to build bridges past damage and to repair damage. Keep positive, be patient (which can be hard).

Gordon is right. My brother got Carbon Monoxide poisoning a few years back. The doctors told me to give him time and the brain would heal. His lungs are a mess (3 times they went into his lungs to clean out the soot from the accident) but his brain did heal. And, he is extremely cheerful.

Torrey, Bud and I are sending prayers and many positive vibes to you. My older sister, like you, had a mild stroke a few years ago and recovered completely and we hope for the same outcome for you. She continues to say that a positive life attitude and both confidence in her physical therapist and compliance with her treatment exercises were a huge part of her recovery.

Thanks to everyone expressing concern for my situation.i appreciate the encouraging words of support! As of now my flexibility in my left hand has returned and recording shouldn't be a problem even if I have to remain seated to do it all ! I feel prayers have been answered!
