For the last several years I've been using the Ederol Hyper Canvas for my sounds.
I like the sounds very much. Recently, I've purchased a new computer with
Windows 7. My Hyper Canvas no longer works. I've tried to find new drivers
and after my local music store contacted the Ederol company, I was informed the
software has been discontinued and new drivers will not be available.
I'm using Coyote WT as suggested by PG Music. I prefer the Hyper Canvas sound.
Could someone suggest another quality sound software that will not break the bank.

I have the Hyper Canvas and the drivers are available for Vista here:http://www.roland.com/products/en/_support/dld.cfm?ln=en&dsp=0&iCncd=492

I also have the Roland TTS-1 and the sounds are about the same. You can Google it
or search for the thread in the BIAB forum.

I just got a new computer with Win7 also.
I tried loading Hyper Canvas, (which I also like) & it wouldn't do it.
I'm downloading the drivers, as I type!

If it's 64bit I think you're out of luck if it's the same as the Virtual Sound Canvas.

I'm pretty sure "Hyper" Canvas & "Virtual" Canvas are 2 different programs.

It works!!
I hope they did away with having to "insert disk" after so many uses....
