Nice job Graham . . . this is another that I play very often, no I don't do a Doris Day impersonation, just the tune.

Very nice, Graham. Has that Lawrence Welk sound that I really like.

I agree and you could fit in without the band missing a skip!

Great sound!

I can thoroughly hear the Lawrence Welk influence, but this swings a bit more!

Graham, are all these beautiful pictures places in Scotland?

Oddly enough I was too young to be influenced by Lawrence Welk & Myron Floren.
I HOPE I've managed to create my own style. I only heard about Lawrence Welk in later life and I think it was only when I started posting on you tube I realised a lot of his videos were there.
The sad thing is that many players of MY own age group were influenced by those they idolised. I always thought it was a shame they HAD to try & sound like somebody else and not develop their own uniqueness.

This always reminds me of how Barney Fife would mispronunce Que sera, que sera on the Andy Griffith show. He'd say it like "K sarah sarah", like the name Sarah. Barney was a decent deputy but must have flunked Spanish.
