Visited the Riverfront Park in Cocoa Florida, which in a few minutes will be the site of the annual
Tribute To All Amercan Heroes and others who have served this country...
At 7 AM it had not been "set up" as yet, but for one "majestic" item, which was a deuce-and-a-half, the vehicle that transported, at one time or another, most every GI...
But it seemed much larger than I would have imagined, way back when I drove one of those things in Germany...
Sort of God telling me at my pre-show visit...what it symbolized to me sans the flyovers, the parade pomp that will be taking place in moments...
the proud but humble feeling when one catches a glance of one lone truck standing alone in the warm, early morning sunrise....on a Florida morning in May...that brings forth so many memories....and tears!!!/
