Here's a handy little program I wrote today. It will tell you the milliseconds (mS) per beat for a song.

Select whether the song is in eighth note or quarter note time signature (ie 6/8 or 4/4 or 3/4) and then tell it the tempo and it gives you the time in mS that equates.

Handy if you have something you want to send thru a delay/echo and have it bounce back on the beat (or half beat) but the delay only allows mS entry.

Example: tempo = 120 and time sig is 3/4 (quarter notes); the program lets you know that 500mS equals each quarter note and 250mS equals each eighth note.

What language do you use? I program in Delphi (object pascal).
