Excellent musical semi-documentary of their lives and the many factors influencing their music. I found it riveting. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Should be of particular interest to Mac (the black Blues and rural America influences) and Bobflatpicker for the "down home" music.

About 1 hour and 50 minutes.
Don,

I'm gonna bookmark it now and watch it later.

Thanks for the link.
I have a preacher friend from Ky. who went to high school with them

Don S.
I'll catch that later too. Thanks Don. I always loved their harmonies.
I personally think that their beautiful harmony was of the type that can only be achieved by siblings. Not only was their harmony excellent but also their sense of timing was perfect.

Sundance, with your appreciation of tight harmony, you may enjoy the extremely tight 3-part female harmony of The Wailin' Jennys (qv) a new discovery for me out of Canada. My speech therapist, Christine, recently introduced me to their music although they have been active for several years.

Let me know what you think of them. They have many beautiful songs on YT.
