Thought about this a few days ago. We read often about people being sued for libel or defamation of character because of the written word, but has it ever happened over the lyrics of a song?

I can't seem to recall anything though I would suppose it would be a perfectly legitimate reason for the injured party.

Tom Lehrer was sued by Werner Von Braun for defamation. The result, besides a substantial punitive award, was that Mr. Lehrer quit writing his brilliantly satirical songs and went back to teaching at Harvard.
