SoundDiver JV/XP was the MIDI patch editor which came with the JV-XP series of Roland synths. I'm pretty sure I had it once, 'cause I printed the manual for it. I'm about equally certain that it's on a dead hard drive. (GOT to learn to back stuff up properly.)

Emagic is now wholly owned by Apple and no longer provide support for PCs as far as I can tell. (Interestingly, you download a free old version of Logic for PCs, but not the generic editor.)

Help?

Roland doesn't have this??
I'm surprised.. I'll do a quick look in the familiar paces.

Found the tonebank editor here- http://esca.atomki.hu/paradise/sac/sound.html

and here - http://www.buildorbuy.org/proaudio.html

and found the 'changeit' editor here - http://www.mossgrabers.de/Software/Software.html

A good page for Roland stuff - http://www.synthzone.com/roland.htm

I found a copy of SoundDiver JV-XP 2.0 OEM here and a whole page of various patch librarians here. Once you have a working copy of SD you can update it all day long at Apple support. Type in emagic.com and you will be redirected.

I'll check out the stuff you linked to, rharv. Now all I gotta do is learn how to use all this stuff!
