I am doing a song in the key of E and it is 3/4 time. I need a 3 chord walk up from E to A chord going into the chorus. I'm sure there are some slash chords for the bass part. Bar 15 is E and Bar 17 (Start Chorus) is A. Bar 18 is B.

I looked into the Biab Chord Substitution but didn't find what I was looking for.

Thanks,

Trax

Diatonically that would be E, F#m, G#m, A..., but you know that? confused

That's exactly what I would have used too. All notes suggested relate to the key signature of E and just form the natural diatonic scale.
The song is in E Major, right?

place the first two steps E,F#m in the first section.... G#m in the second of the same bar..... going to A in the next bar

Quite often simply walking the bass works well too. The same pattern applies.

Thanks everyone. E F#M E/G# works great.
