This is an interesting article about a study into Freddie Mercury's unique voice.

"Opera for the masses" - I believe that was his quote.:-)

My 10 year old daughter loves Queen, so we have it playing in the car. Sadly, I can't remember the words the way she does. It took us weeks to learn Bohemian Rhapsody when we sang it in an all male choir. She can regurgitate the lyrics/breaks etc from songs after about 5 or 6 listens - or so it seems. I wait with baited breath to see if she learns to sing in tune.... then she'll be a fantastic asset. :-)

I have recently been creating Queen BIAB backing tracks to accompany melody on my keyboard. Some are fairly easy like.
Another one bites the dust
Seaside rendezvous
You're my best friend
Crazy little thing call love

Some are much harder like
Somebody to love

I haven't even tried Bohemian Rhapsody yet!

Has anyone else done Queen BIAB backing tracks to accompany keyboard melody?

Thanks
Tony

While I agree with the research result, I am still puzzled that it actually took a "study" to confirm what everyone already new... just sayin' laugh
