Anybody else getting PM's from user MrsGloria4ci? Look likes she from France. She's offering $1.7M to help the widowed and needy! Got 3 of them from her since yesterday. Don't feel particularly charitable this morning, how do I block her?

I set the "ignore" PM's from that user option, and also reported to Moderators.
And to think, all that money could have been mine....
You mean THIS one? I replied but the cussing filter removed the important words..... but I think enough got through the filter that the scammer got the message.

First time here using a PM to spam that I can recall.
I got it, also. We need a "notify moderator" button for PMs (there isn't one). That way they can block these things (at least temporarily).
But this would mean that the person registered an account, and then posted to PM.
PGMusic, does the forum software support a "notify moderator" button?

If she REALLY trusted God, wouldn't she have sent it to just one person, having high confidence that person would respond?
from the perspective of a social experiment, I wonder how this would have played out if only one of us had gotten the PM... and upon posting the query to see who else got it, someone ended up feeling they had been singled out of the crowd?

I PROBABLY got same PM becasue flashing "mail" symbol is up there by "My Stuff" but nothing new anywhere in the messages.
I've check all pages (I don't but three), logged into PG forums and logged out, refreshed page forum page, deleted cookies and refreshed - SILL HAVE flashing mail
Moderator MAY have removed that spam from all users but in my case looks like the forum logic flag for mail is still set?

Have her get in touch with Prince Mgobu from Nigeria, and run it past Mr. James Mueller from the FBI. And of course have the IRS scammers call them to tell them there was a miscalculation in their taxes from da year 2009 and use have to pay or we will put in an ARRest (as they say it) warrant....
There are some GREAT youtube sites to visit to watch people who play the scammers. One guy they called was a tax attorney!!
Drat. I had two early this morning, which I deleted. Then someone here commented the Moderator dealt with it. But I just got one more.
Yeah I got one too. It's obviously a spambot. Nobody sits and looks up EVERY username on a system and then writes manually. With all the good that computers brought us, this kind of bad came with it.

She has been gone less than a day and I miss her already. All those emails she sent me... Oh sure, it LOOKED like she was trying to scam me for money, but I think there was something more under the surface....
