The theme for this quarter’s review over at Kara-Moon is Africa. This is my submission:

The African Watering Hole is a place where all of the cool cats, chicks and babies hang out. If the groove is just right they may join in.

This is another example of what happens when I’m alone in my little studio on a Friday night with nothing to do, i.e. it’s another 5 hour wonder. I was thinking about our latest African theme so I down loaded some animal sounds and soundfonts, added some drums and guitars as well as a tad of humor.

I hope you like it.

Hi Mario,

I let my imagination go while listening.

Elephants on trombones, tigers on trumpets and monkeys on drums. Suddenly Mario appears playing a guitar as he circles around the campfire, and the animals applaud.

I guess I've got too much time on my hands. Enjoyed it.

"Oh No, Drums stop. Bass solo!"

I Like the Beat and the dirty guitar. Is that Johnny Weissmüllers Tarzan roar?

great work,
Sandra

Cool man, although I heard a couple of bad cats in the audience I feel this one has to be for just us monkeys in the band, including that bad gorilla on bass!

.

This is great!

I DJ'd a party with a jungle theme a few weeks ago. This would have been perfect!

Thanx all for listening and the very kind words.

Don, I’ve never had any elephants on trombones or tigers on trumpets in any of my bands. However I have had a couple of monkeys on drums

Sandra, yes that was Johnny Weissmullers Trazan roar.

Danny, yep that bass player went ape when he learned he had to solo

Hey Mario,

I love it! Funky monkey cool. If I could have 1/10th of your musical imagination, I'd be happy

Hey Mario. That was too cool. I might have to borrow that one for my next radio controlled flight on you tube. It was really cool.

Thanx for listening guys.

Noel – thanx for the very kind compliment. All you have to do is to just experiment. A lot of the stuff I try does NOT get shared, or saved

He bought the Chet Atkins guitar course C.O.D;
He knows E and A an' he's workin' on B,
An' me an' the chimpanzee agree
that some day soon he'll be -
a ce-leb-ri-ty!

Git it!
Git it!
Git it!

Good job, Mario.

Excellent Mario! I do hope you can add the proviso that "No living creatures were harmed or killed in the making of this production"

Reminds me of a voiceover demo I have on my website entitled 'The Elephants Of Kilimanjaro'. Track 4 here
