In the 2017 Band in a Box for example are the Styles and Audiophiles the same for the Mac and Windows ?

My understanding is 'Yes', but you could check with PG Music Support for an exact answer.

There can be some variance as they are not on the same annual release schedule but in general yes (BiaB for Windows is released earlier than the Mac version).

They both use the same, STY opens in Win & Mac.
The RealTrack/Drum WAV are saved as AIFF and M4A for the Mac.
Mac will work with WAV RealTrack/Drum but Win won't work with AIFF so I can use the Win Audiophile on both Win & Mac.
The only thing Mac don't get is RealBand and a few features that Biab Win has like piano roll, conductor etc..
