So I read a post from the 2017 Xtra Style contest about the song where MusicStudent posted about being able to input his chords into NI strumming plugin to create his own strumming pattern. How do I go about doing that?

About a year ago we had a good go over with Strummed Acoustic. There is also a video out there which I will provide a link.

Strummed Acoustic and ToonTracks EZKeys both work very nice with shared chord charts from BIAB.

I think Pipeline and I were the only folks here who did this. He give me the information. I made the video to remind myself how to do it. This was all year ago but I have used this many times.

We need a library to store these sort of power tips. Pipeline helped me with switching Realtracks from f/x'ed to DI but I'd have to search the forum to find that post should I want to do that again!
