I discovered a music collaboration site users may be interested in. It's called Kompoz and can be found +++ HERE +++
Pricing plans are $0, $5, $10 & $20 a month. With the free plan you can create up to 3 public collaborations, 1 private collaboration with unlimited participation in other collaborations. The bad side is you limited to MP3 uploads. But, if they didn't limit bit rate you can upload a high bit rate MP3 and provide almost WAV/AIF quality audio tracks.
The forum has sections for songwriters, session musicians and singers. The forum also has sections directed at recording (tracking), mixing and mastering.
Of course, the site also has a store to purchase music published on the website.
