PS I did the 30 trail of HALion6 - I think it is a BETTER than Kontakt but takes getting use to work wise, yes no real 3rd party support (yet?)

it comes with pre-built GM compliant "set" - that is, HALion6 has a canned "script" and you can swap out any preassigned patch for any other HALion 6 patch - for you own GM set.

only have 5 days for sale, ends on 19 feb, but you can try the trial for a day or two before that and at least see if you LIKE any of the sounds.

Thanks, Larry. I checked it out and it also applies to upgrades, so was able to upgrade from Halion 4 (I skipped Halion 5) to Halion 6 for $100 instead of $199.99.

I appreciate the head's up, as I had been considering doing the upgrade anyway. I know my Halion 4 has some very nice sounds, and I'm sure it's even better in Halion 6.
