My gut tells me there are many blue grass fans here, so.....

Being a long time Styx fan I stumbled upon this YT tidbit.
Tommy Shaw, who was guitar/vocals in Styx has since gone his way and has done a blue grass album called The Great Divide.
I listened to a few of them.....I'm not yet accustomed to hearing blue grass from him though.
His vocals and musicianship has always impressed me.

I recently saw Styx in concert (along with Don Felder and REO Speedwagon) and Tommy Shaw came out on stage during Don Felder's set to play banjo on an Eagles song.

And then later when Styx came on, Tommy said "How about that banjo player with Don Felder?" It was great.

That's really cool - I had no idea Tommy Shaw from Styx was doing bluegrass music now. I'll have to check that out - thanks for sharing

Sounds like a very good line up.
REO's "Roll With The Changes" is still one of my default play along songs when I practice my axe.....it's a rocker and fun to play.
