Greetings....

My gut tells me there are many blue grass fans here, so.....

Being a long time Styx fan I stumbled upon this YT tidbit.
Tommy Shaw, who was guitar/vocals in Styx has since gone his way and has done a blue grass album called The Great Divide.
I listened to a few of them.....I'm not yet accustomed to hearing blue grass from him though. smile
His vocals and musicianship has always impressed me.

Anyway....if interested, here's a link with lots of YT vids and I'm curious to hear what aficionados think: http://chazzsnay.com/consent_form.htm

Good evening to all....

I recently saw Styx in concert (along with Don Felder and REO Speedwagon) and Tommy Shaw came out on stage during Don Felder's set to play banjo on an Eagles song.

And then later when Styx came on, Tommy said "How about that banjo player with Don Felder?" It was great. smile

I don't know how to change the thread title

Edit your post.
If the thread title was written by you, you can edit it, just like you can edit the post content.

If you look in the blue bar just above this post, you'll see I was able to edit the subject in 'my' reply .. but if you edit the original post it should change the whole thread title also

Chuckle....

Got it Matt....

Just changed it successfully....never knew I could do that in the 'posting' window.

I had a daft moment with this post....and I hadn't even touched the Crown Royal yet!

Thanks again....(you too rharv....back to it.

All set, well done.

I deleted my posts.
That's really cool - I had no idea Tommy Shaw from Styx was doing bluegrass music now. I'll have to check that out - thanks for sharing smile

Cool....
Sounds like a very good line up.
REO's "Roll With The Changes" is still one of my default play along songs when I practice my axe.....it's a rocker and fun to play.

Thanks for chiming in.
Back to it....
