Exciting time.
Bummer. Launch scrubbed because of weather.

Retry Sat.
Yes, I was watching with some interest and was disappointed to see the delay. However, it'll be rescheduled soon enough.
I hope all goes well. I read today that another SpaceX Starship rocket exploded on test. These things happen, but it's still scary.
As of right now, launch is a go for 3:22pm EST.

Hope it goes well, doesn't the rocket have to reach speeds of 7 miles a second to escape the earths gravity, unbelievable!
Godspeed, Bob and Doug!
It was great, watched the whole thing. What impresses me is the overall look of everything from the Falcon 9 to the Dragon capsule to the spacesuits. It's ultramodern looking, three big touch sensitive flat panel displays control everything and they're specifically designed to work with the spacesuit gloves. Then there's the spacesuits themselves, wow what a look. They have that old 50's Twilight Zone "futuristic" look. And then the first stage Falcon rocket lands itself vertically exactly how the old scifi writers envisioned a rocket landing. It really makes all the old NASA stuff look like ancient antiques.

Bob
Bob beat me with the space suit comments. If anyone gets a chance visit Cape Canaveral, it is very impressive.

I watched the entire launch and it was very impressive. It is amazing how they can have those rockets return to the ships so they can be used again.
I'm so proud of the men and women of NASA and SpaceX!

It was exciting and inspiring to witness what they accomplished today. The mission won't be over until we have our astronauts safely back home but it was a wonderful start to what I hope is a new beginning for our space program.

My son and I watched together and cheered them on. I still have it running in the background and keep checking back for updates.
I totally agree. I find the technology is absolutely awesome.

How far we have developed technological advances in such a short time-frame. So impressive.
I watched this happen as well live online - absolutely fascinating stuff. I will admit, it definitely makes me realize how small I really am, in a beautiful way.
Wow, how did I miss this! I had no idea this was happening. I'm sure I can find footage of this online somewhere.
