Hello forum members

The year is drawing to a close.
And what could be more natural than to dedicate
a song to the people who are close to you,
who are always there for you and who make your life worth living.

I came up with the idea and the music for the
song, then asked Deej to write the lyrics.
And then Marty, Shigeki and Wolle stepped in to
move the song forward with their great talents.

But I had no idea how well this song would develop.
The result is a fantastic collaboration that focused
on the message of the song right from the start:

YOU ARE THE BEST THING IN MY LIFE

Well, this is pretty close to perfection. Wish I had THIS "band in a box". Ha! A lot going on musically, but no wasted effort, just a steady build to a big finish. Fantastic job all!

A fairly sparse arrangement in the verses and the chorus aren't overloaded but with those skilled players you've elegant sufficiency all the way through.
BIAB holds it head up well too.

You did a wonderful job on this song. I'm impressed!
I heard it some days ago for the first time, on YouTube.
Now, it still sounds amazing (luckily). ;-)

It all sounds great.
Its impossible to pick out one thing. Everything was great; the strings; they fit wonderful here.
You in composing the song and all other arrangements.
Shigeki on the strings. Wolfgang on the guitar, Marty (also included) on the bass and Deej with his special vocals.
But also in writing these very nice lyrics.

So Andy, you managed to get people together again to make this song.

The title expresses how I feel about this forum And many of 'you' have worked together to give me such a treat with a beautiful ballad in the classic style. Great hook melody. Excellent band, where you have all done one of your best performances. The timing is perfect for the message, during these difficult times it is important to remember those who have been the fire burning our prisons down.

Andi has written a great song, Shigeki's strings are lush and warm, Wolfgang's guitar solo is one of the best I've heard for a long time, DJ's vocals cannot be any better, Marty complements the super group. This should be Christmas number one song all over the world!

Hey Sound Guardians...that was incredible! wow...what a production all round...well written and sung (Deej always come through)...played (the strings are exquisite, and the solo is killer and the bass is well...it's Marty) and produced (mixed perfectly IMO)...this is one of the best songs of the year here IMHO...we don't need The Guardians of the Galaxy when we have the Sound Guardians around! super collaboration Andy...would love to hear more from this group! Wow. Deej really knocked it out of the park with the vocals, but everything about this production is excellent.
