This is a song written by a buddy of mine, named David Reding. We grew up together (though he often says I never grew up.) He's a bass player in a rock band here in San Antonio. So naturally, he wrote a country song. I helped him record it, and did all the background vocals, and mixing, etc. David sang the lead vocal. All of the instrumentation is Realtracks and Realdrums.

Remember, this is an old-fashioned, George Jones style country song, so it is pretty depressing. And no, my friend is not suicidal (although he is a little crazy.) We hope you enjoy it!

The song is good, but your post is better, and here's why.

I sent a CD of my 10 song CD demos to a friend in Oklahoma. Now we are great long time friends (I just wish she never left Ohio) and we love each other to where she can't really be objective so I asked her to pass the CD around her workplace and such and get some feedback. So far 8 people have listened to it and the biggest complaint is that the slow songs are so depressing they all cried when they listened to them (one of them is male!!).

And for country music, that is EXACTLY what I was hoping for!!! LOL!!!

Just needs a little intro Cuz and a Steel Guitar bridge . I have a cd with some steel lick loops on it and one that I made from Texas Steel Guitar hall of fame player Billy Braddy . I was a sound man for him on a weekly show for 2 years till he died. When his friend told me he was dying of cancer it was only a few weeks left and I recorded only him instead of the band. I told his wife about the recordings and she gave me permission to use them if I gave credit that Billy was playing . I'll mail them to you if ya want Cuz .
