Changed the title, seems like I started a firestorm accidentally on other forum.

Completely created using realtracks in BIAB, custom melodist.

Rendered to 6 wav files, 1 complete song and 5 track Wav's.

Loaded track wav's into RB. Adjusted balance levels using sliders
on each track.

Output Aux used PG dynamics-stock setting cutting gain by -1 db.
Used Marvel GEQ with side bass removal. Overall effect was to
inhibit the mids a bit. Monitored with K-meter and RB meter combo.

Generated with "merge audio and Vst tracks to stereo wav.
Loaded into Audacity bit of fade-in and exported as 192 bit mp3.

First effort thought was in the ball park at least.

The music...Dinner music, background, whatever.

Of course the realtracks and PG software are the real stars.

But am I in the ballpark for the overall sound ?

Thanks for listening.

DEFINITELY!

This sounds really good to my ears: very well balanced and creatively assembled.

All the best,
Noel
Noel,

That is now $27 dollars I owe you......

Thanks for the gracious comments.

Sounds like a late night at the jazz club - really nice job...

Bob
Bob,

I agree, country flavor, but jazz it seems.

Thanks for you compliments.

I think it's very good, love the pitch bends on the lead guitars, certainly better than my efforts with this style. A good sound and balance. Jeff
Jeff,

Thanks for compliments on the pitch bends, but think most of that is
built into the realtracks. Joy of joys using them. Albeit the
EQ's settings using

Side base removal is their terminology, not sure about it myself.
Did examine the settings tho on the 16 channels of EQ. Definite
improvement in the overall sound when activating/deactivating the plugin.

Realband is an incredible set of tools to use. The 2012 updates added so much
more to the "Mix"...pun intended.

Have a long way to go on the Mix thing, but you folks have encouraged me.

Thanks.

Sounds smooth to me!
I would have played with the panning a bit, things are pretty bunched up in the middle. I can hear two rhythm guitars so I'd have put one L and R, maybe 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock.
The track is spoiled by the abrupt cut off at the end! Try and put a slow fade on there - that would suit this kind of genre.
Keep up the good work!

John
John,

Excellent point, I did not do that and it would have filled out
the song a bit more. Get so excited when working with the system,
"me mind" isn't quite correct sometimes.

Will re-do and post later today. Few chores take priority.

10 and 2 and fade all good points.

Thanks for the tips, and compliment.
Redid original mix with John's panning and fadeout suggestion.
First post has link.

Think this is more acceptable for you folks.
