PG Music Home
I Have Pinnacle Studio 14 with all the bells and whistles.
I can only create a 720x480 recording to my stand alone DVD recorder.

Used it to grab the live visualizations and music.
Then imported into Studio 14 and spent about 2 hours editing.

The result sound is "OK", but video quality suffered with creation of mp4 file.
The mpg2, DVD compatible which is not accepted was much better.

I do have a direct from Studio 14 to YouTube option in the video creation,
this may keep more quality. ???

Gave PG and you folks credits in the comment portion, thank you again.
Frank,

Of course I couldn't see the video, but really enjoyed the music. I bet that was fun to make.

Frank,

Sounds good. Good luck with your cd!

Nice One Seeker! Did you convert to Mp4 format from Mpg2 or did your program render it as one? I've had poor results with conversion and also a slow internet connection.
Tommy,

I rendered directly to mp4 file.
Also rendered the mpg2 directly.

Good question tho, rendering to one format,
then converting "may" contribute to quality loss.

In my ballgame don't have a way to record to HD.

But you just gave me an idea. YouTube does
take some kinds of HD formats.

My Studio 14 will generate HD formats.
Maybe by generating HD format, then converting to
required Youtube HD format the video quality could be improved.

Was personally disappointed in the video quality.
Only way to fix it is to remove existing file and
add new one. Links shared are then shot.

This train we are on is great sport!
After working about 90 minutes on the video quality issue.
Found out via "uncle google" an mpg file could be uploaded.

Took me about 30 minutes to "add" new video.
From what could learn you can only add new one and delete
old one.
Hence new link. Bit higher video and audio quality

I cannot re-edit the original post on this forum, sorry
beyond my control.

Later.
That is much better Seeker!
Yes Frank, that is much better.
