I've written a bluegrass song in BiaB but my vocal abilities are not very good.
The song is currently in G, but of course can be changed to any key.
Anyone interested?

Thanks, - Mark

Really? Fifty views and not one taker?
Mark,

Maybe you should post a link to the song with you singing it the best you can or at least something that would give people an idea what the song sounds like.
I think then you might get some responses.

Tim
Yea what Tim said.
Ive looked at this post several times.

Im not the greatest singer but I am willing to give it a go.

It would be helpful if I could listen or down load it some where.

Regards Rob

OK guys, thanks.

My singing (which is never good) is really pretty bad on this one.

But I'll post a sample. Oh, gee whiz . . .

Alright, then. Here goes . . .

Name of the song is Not Made For This World.
Sorry Mark, but my old computer just doesn't work with Sound Cloud.
I'm not suggesting you change sites, but just letting you know why I'm not giving your song a listen.
I wouldn't have sung your song any ways because my singing voice really sucks, but 2 thumbs up for you posting your song.
I hope you find someone to sing it for you.

Tim
Hey.
FirstBassman.

I think your voice is perfect for the song.

I really enjoyed listening.

Can you post a full length vesion please?

Regards Rob

That's interesting. I've never heard that before.

SoundCloud is just a self-contained player that works with a browser.

I can post it somewhere else too. Thanks.

Ah, Rob, you are just too, too kind. Thank you! That was my third take and the vocals weren't too terrible for me but I'd really like to hear what it sounds like with someone who has that Stanley Brothers type of voice.

The full-length version is no different. Just a couple of more verses and a BiaB mandolin solo.
See my thread in the BiaB forum about the inability to separate out the solo track in a multi-style.

Thanks again for your kind words! - Mark
I like the song and your voice, too. But you seem to lack confidence and your timing is off a bit. Try rehearsing while stomping your foot to the beat. Sometimes it takes me weeks and many takes to get my vocals to where I like them.
