Hi,friends !

The theme of this groove had been laying dormant
in my brains for many, many years and after my dear
wife´s passing ( about a year later) I came to
realize that I had to move on for the sake of
our children and thus the tune and the lyrics
came out without any greater effort. I admit the
quality of the recording is not the best one, but it is
a live take and I am still pondering on if the arrangement
as such would need any additional instruments or
vocals (the repetitiveness is there on purpose as to
create a feeling of monotony to create a sense
of being on a never ending journey, just the way I felt
at the time I wrote it) !

Dani,

A lot of feeling in this one. Given the "live" nature of the performance, I would be inclined to leave it as is. Nice work.

Hi, Bob !

Thank you for your kind comment !
I think you are right, additional
stuff would probably destroy the
intentional mood ?

Hi Dani
its fine as it is. Any extra detail will detract from the mood that you are working for.
I love the long fade out at the end - that increases the "never-ending" feeling too.

dani, enjoyed the listen. Reminded me of "Proud Mary" when it first started.

As do I!

I wouldn't change a thing as IMHO it would kill the mood. This song doesn't need anything else.

Kind of a beach boys "smile" era type vibe

Hi, Rob !

I am a child of that era ! (Lol)
I even wrote a tribute to them,
they were and still are one of my greatest
favourites together with The Shadows
and Ventures !:) Thank you so much for your
kind comment !

I am in the same boat as the responses above, leave it alone as it is just fine as is. However I would think this tune will lend itself to video very easily.

Nice job,

Hi Danny !

Thank you for your kind comment !:)
You may be quite right about the video
stuff, that is an area I am not very good
at. I do not even own a video camera !:)
