GRACE AND PEACE TO YOU

GRACE AND PEACE TO YOU FROM THE GOD ABOVE
HE WILL GIVE YOU HOPE HE WILL GIVE YOU LOVE
THE JOY IS IN YOUR HEART FOR THE WORLD TO SEE
LIVING JESUS CHRIST FOR ETERNITY

CHORUS
GLORY HALLELUJAH, GLORY HE LIVES
GLORY HALLELUJAH, GLORY HE LIVES

GOLD AND SILVER GODS, IDOLS YOU DON’T NEED
LAY THEM DOWN TO HIM, THROUGH HIM YOU HAVE BEEN FREED
ABIDING IN HIS WORD, HE’LL ABIDE IN YOU
HE WILL GIVE STRENGTH, HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH

CHORUS

GLORY HALLELUJAH, GLORY HE LIVES
GLORY HALLELUJAH, GLORY HE LIVES

PRAISE HIS MIGHTY NAME, JESUS OUR LORD
WE WILL FOLLOW HIM ALL IN ONE ACCORD
THESE THINGS I SING TO YOU, ARE NOT FROM ME ALONE
THEY ARE FROM THE WORD, FROM THE GLORY THRONE

CHORUS
GLORY HALLELUJAH, GLORY HE LIVES
GLORY HALLELUJAH, GLORY HE LIVES

Hi Mike,

Congratulations on getting your first song posted smile

I love the easy, relaxed feel of the accompaniment. It was a great fit for the structure of your song. I also liked the inspiring lyrics. They worked for me. If you ever get around to revisiting the mix, the lead vocals seemed to stand out in front of the accompaniment on my system. It would be interesting to drop them back a couple of dBs and compare how it sounds.

I find mixing incredibly difficult. What I usually do when I get to what I think is a 'final mix' is to put the song away and then not listen to it for 2 days. Then, when I revisit what I've done, I find it's much easier to hear what needs adjusting.

Thank you for sharing your work. I appreciated the opportunity to listen to it. You should feel a good sense of accomplishment with this one!

All the best,
Noel

Nice work.

It's always a scary thing to post your first song for the world to hear and comment on.

You did good.
