I wrote this back in 2011 as part of the 5090 challenge, It is from the perspective of Jesus speaking. When I mixed it originally the bass was way to heavy, so much so that when I performed it live at a church with subwoofers under the floor of the stage I could actually feel the bass all over. So much bass that it caused the cd to skip. I have remixed it and tamed the bass. Comments are welcome

The real tracks are
368 Acoustic Strum
1003 Acoustic Rock FP
1036 Electric Bass Pop
Real Drums Nashville ev16^Hihat, Hihat O

The strings are midi #49 strings

Verse
I am going to Jerusaleum
to lay My body down for you
I will take the whip, take the spit
so you can be made new
I will let the nails
rip through My hands and feet
I will be lifted up
so you can see just how much I love you
in My arms

Chorus
In My arms
you will find peace
when the storms that you are facing
in your life just will not cease
you can lay your burdens down
when your life is upside down
you will find the rest you need
for your life
in My Arms

Verse 2
In this life will be troubles
I told you that before I went away
but I promise if you trust Me
there will be a better day
just hold on and you will see
I will stand with you
throughout the storm
I will lift you up
in My arms

Repeat ChorusX2

Bridge
when this life has ended
you will see Me face to face
you will rest forevermore
in My arms
in My arms

Hi Robert. Good one! Vocals, as always, are outstanding. I have had that experience with bass a couple of times...Generally it happens when I am listening to one of my songs in the car. For some reason I dont pick it up on the earphones.

Robert,

Beautiful song. Terrific melody! Your best vocal, ever...

Nice arrangement. Like Bob said, the strings hit a little hard each time they come in - a subtle swell there would be nice... they also end a bit abruptly the first time - could use a slow fade there bleeding into the following vocal. Everything else is set in nicely.
