I rarely try to do something original since I work primarily with covers. This actually started as a cover of "A House is not a Home", the version by Luther Vandross, but my vocal attempts have kicked my a-s-s (at least for now). So I stripped the arrangement down to just 24 bars, simplified the chords and played over the progression. I tried to make it sparse and melodic. I need to do more of this...
